[ Some days after the Presenting of The Brush, Gray will find a servant scuttling to her room, politely knocking on her door before bowing and holding out a box with a note on top for Gray to take. (And then scuttling away once the delivery is made.)
Inside the box is (as you already know) a selection of macarons from a fancy bakery in Achamoth. The note itself is predictably short, penned in a clean but slightly slanted script. ]
