Regardless, there's a small wrapped gift sitting outside Gray's door (because Eustace would never infringe on her privacy and actually go into her room) one morning during the holiday season. Inside is an embroided hooded cape (made of lightweight fabric for those hot Springstar summers, yanno), as well as a pie recipe cookbook (even though Gray probably already knows how to make every pie under the sun, he is trying his best here).
As usual, there's a note (unsigned) that simply says Happy holidays. ]
